Salomon Highpath Snowboard 2027

The Salomon Highpath Snowboard 2027 is a high-performance all-mountain snowboard designed to combine powerful riding capability with environmentally conscious construction. Built using a range of sustainable materials — including a bio-based topsheet and resin, an FSC-certified wood core, and recycled base and edge materials — the Highpath delivers premium performance while reducing its environmental footprint.

Engineered for riders who want precision and stability, the Highpath features Rock Out Camber paired with a stiff flex for one of the most stable rides in Salomon’s lineup. The responsive Popster core profile adds powerful energy transfer and pop, while the tapered directional shape helps the board drive confidently out of carves and float naturally in deeper snow. Whether carving groomers, charging variable terrain, or exploring powder lines, the Highpath offers advanced all-mountain performance with a sustainable edge.

Board Type: All Mountain

All-mountain snowboards are designed to perform across the entire resort, from groomed runs to off-piste terrain. They provide strong edge control, stability, and versatility for riders who want a single board capable of handling varied conditions.

Flex: 8/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)

A stiff flex delivers precise control, strong edge hold, and excellent stability at high speeds. It is ideal for aggressive riding styles and riders who want maximum performance when carving or tackling challenging terrain.

Ability Level: Advanced

Advanced snowboards are built for experienced riders seeking high-speed control, precise response, and confidence in demanding terrain.

Shape: Tapered Directional

A tapered directional shape features a wider nose and slightly narrower tail. This design improves float in powder while maintaining stability and power through turns when riding forward.

Camber Type: Rock Out Camber

Rock Out Camber combines flat sections between the bindings for stability, camber near the feet for power and response, and rocker in the tip and tail for increased versatility and smoother turn initiation.

Sidecut: Quadratic Sidecut

A blend of elliptical curves that promotes smooth turn initiation, fluid transitions, and consistent edge hold throughout each carve.

Width: Standard, Wide

Standard width boards provide quick edge-to-edge response for riders with average boot sizes, while wide models offer additional surface area to prevent toe and heel drag for riders with larger boots.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

A modern 2x4 insert pattern allows precise stance adjustments and works with all standard snowboard binding systems.

Board Construction

Topsheet: ABC Wrapper Topsheet

A natural wood veneer topsheet replaces traditional plastic layers, reducing weight while improving vibration damping for a smoother ride.

Laminate: BA MD Fiberglass, B/FX Basalt, Popster, 30% Bio-Based Resin

Medium-density fiberglass keeps the board lightweight and lively. Basalt fibres combined with fiberglass increase strength and vibration absorption. The Popster core profile enhances energy transfer to the nose and tail for added pop, while the bio-based resin reduces environmental impact by incorporating plant-based materials.

Core: Aspen SLCT Core

Constructed from carefully selected Aspen wood strips, this core delivers excellent strength, reduced weight, and consistent flex for high-performance riding.

Sidewall: 66% Recycled ABS Sidewalls

Sidewalls made with recycled ABS material provide durability and impact resistance while helping reduce overall environmental impact.

Edges: All Mountain Edge Bevel

A 1.5° base and side edge bevel offers dependable edge grip and smooth handling across a variety of snow conditions.

Base: 50% Recycled Sintered Base

A fast sintered base made with 50% recycled material that delivers strong glide performance while maintaining excellent wax retention.

Additional Features

Fine Stone Finish

A factory stone grind improves glide and consistency across changing snow conditions.

Natural Wax Finish

The board comes pre-waxed at the factory, so it’s ready to ride straight out of the shop.
